Louise Minchin is a versatile presenter, journalist and newsreader. She is a guest presenter on the One Show and presents Missing Live and Real Rescues on BBC One
What is your favourite dish?
Chicken Tikka Masala, which I am virtually addicted to. Whenever we are home on a Friday night, my husband goes and picks one up from our local Curry House. They now expect him every week, and miss him when he doesn't turn up.
What do you feel is your signature dish?
I make a mean carbonara, with copious amounts of garlic and lashings of double cream.
How do you relax? Any pass times or hobbies?
I find it very difficult to relax at home, as there always seems so much to do. So, whenever I have a break in my work schedule, I go to North Cornwall where I surf, and wander on the stunning sandy beaches, and watch the waves.
What's your foodie weakness?
I love crisps with taramasalata so much, that I can't have either in the house.
What is your motto?
Everything is going to be OK
What's for lunch?
Oak roasted trout, carrots and hummous.
What's on your plate?
I have just finished filming a new series of Missing 2011 which will be on BBC One at the end of May, as well as another series of Real Rescues. I have also just launched my website,louiseminchin.com
